How to Use the Genesis Commander NFTs in Medieval Empires: Insights from our Game Design Director
With the launch of the Genesis Commander NFTs behind us, Medieval Empires players are eager to use their NFTs in the game. We caught up with Felix, the Game Design Director of Medieval Empires to understand how players can use the Genesis Commander NFTs in the game.
Felix: When you connect your wallet (the one that has your NFTs) to your game account, you’ll get a pop-up in the game showing your new NFTs.
Click anywhere on the screen, and you’ll see how they will look in-game.
Click again to add them to your inventory. This is where the fun begins with your new NFTs!
Felix: After collecting your NFTs, go to your inventory by clicking the inventory button in the corner.
Then, select the ‘Gears’ tab.
This is where you can check out all the details about your NFTs, including how they look in the game and what they can do. All the detailed stats will be listed here.
Felix: To use your NFTs, head to the Hero Academy and click on the ‘Recruit’ button. You will also see a Genesis Commander icon here now.
When you click the Genesis Commander icon, a panel will pop up showing all your NFTs.
Each one is a different commander with unique traits. You can review their traits and pick the one you want to use to create a hero. Once you have decided, you can simply click the 'Equip' button and you will get a preview of your new hero with a randomly generated body. You can also set the class of your hero and also view the range of each stat that you will get with a certain NFT.
After that, you can click on train as you normally would with heroes and start off a timer.
Once the timer has finished, your brand-new ultimate hero would be ready to use!
Felix: Check out for bonuses for each commander as these might affect the stats of the hero you are creating. This is the same information that you see on the marketplace as well. For example, if your Genesis Commander NFT has an attack bonus, the hero you create will have better attack stats. The durability of your hero will be the maximum possible durability in your given range.
Felix: When you create a hero using one of your Genesis commanders, it will be highlighted in the Hero Academy, with sort of a halo around the hero. Once you click on it, there will also be a Genesis Commander icon next to your hero to differentiate it easily.
Felix: Definitely! With different Genesis Commander NFTs, you can create heroes with various traits. Whether it’s a female hero, a hero from a specific faction like the Turks or Crusaders, or a unit type like cavalry, infantry, or archers, your NFTs allow for lots of customization. For instance, an archer commander will generate an archer hero. A diverse NFT collection means a more varied and powerful collection of heroes. After that, it depends on you how to use your new heroes in your gameplay strategy!
Felix: Customizing your heroes adds a new layer of strategy. You can tailor their strengths and abilities to match your game strategy. With a varied NFT collection, you can build a stronger set of heroes and more powerful armies, making your gameplay even more exciting.
Felix: Explore the different features and bonuses of your NFTs to see what works best for your strategy. Certain benefits are especially helpful during events. For example, an XP Boost gives you an advantage in the "Heroes Rising" event, where you score by gaining XP, while a Resource Reward Boost is beneficial in the "Well Prepared" event, where players focus on gathering resources. The more you experiment, the better you’ll be able to build a strong and diverse hero army. Enjoy the new depth and excitement that these NFTs bring to Medieval Empires!
So, are you ready to dive into the world of Genesis Commander NFTs and take your Medieval Empires experience to the next level? Enjoy building your empire and strategizing with your new heroes!
If you don’t have a Genesis Commander NFT yet and want to get even better stats for your heroes, you can still get a Genesis Commander NFT at Sphere, Dew, AtomicHub, TokenTrove and join the action!
