Terms and Conditions for Staking $MEE

1. visit our dedicated webpage at https://stake.apps.medievalempires.com ;
2. connect your wallet to our website by clicking on a “Connect Wallet” button;
3. select a Tier Land based on the required number of the MEE Tokens for each Tier Land, and submit an entry to receive a ticket;
4. approve the transfer of the MEE Tokens on your wallet; and
5. authorize the transaction on your wallet to transfer the required number of the MEE Tokens to a designated smart contract address and recieve a ticket. Once the transaction is complete, You will be able to see the number of tickets you have received on our dedicated page. Please note only those who are 18 years of age as the date of entry and those who purchased the MEE Tokens (before the end of the Entry Period of this Sweepstakes) and currently holds the MEE Tokens are eligible to participate in this Sweepstakes.

The number of the MEE Tokens required to participate in each Tier Lands is as follows:

1. Tier I Land - 1 ticket requires - 1000 MEE Tokens
2. Tier II Land - 1 ticket requires - 2000 MEE Tokens
3. Tier III Land - 1 ticket requires - 3000 MEE Tokens
4. Tier IV Land - 1 ticket requires - 4000 MEE Tokens
5. Tier V Land - 1 ticket requires - 5000 MEE Tokens

The entry must fulfil all requirements of the Sweepstakes, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the Rules or specifications of the Sweepstakes may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. You must provide all information requested by the Sponsor. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the Rules. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the Rules of the Sweepstakes, your submission may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.

The MEE Tokens that You transfer will be held in a smart contract and locked up for a period of thirty (30) days from the time of each transaction is made. During this period, You will not be able to withdraw or make any transactions with the MEE Tokens. After the thirty (30) days period of of each transaction is made, a “Unlock Tokens” button will appear on the dedicated webpage. By clicking this button, your MEE Tokens will be sent back to the same wallet address from which you transferred them to the dedicated smart contract address.You are solely responsible for the recovery of your MEE Tokens after the thirty (30) days period is over. Please note that the Sponsor will not have access to and control of the transferred MEE Tokens, as they will be stored within the smart contract. The smart contract itself will not be under the Sponsor’s control. Please note You will be solely responsible for bearing all gas fees associated with transferring of the MEE Tokens. A gas fee is a transaction fee that is required to be paid by You to the network’s miners for processing and validating transactions. For the sake of clarity, the gas fees are not payable to the Sponsor.

6. Prizes: The Sponsor will run multiple Sweepstakes simultaneously, with one sweepstake for each of the five different Tier Lands. You must enter for each Tier of Land separately and get a ticket. The five winner(s) of the Sweepstakes (the "Winners") will receive the following prizes:

• 1 winner will receive Tier I land;
• 1 winner will receive Tier II land;
• 1 winner will receive Tier III land;
• 1 winner will receive Tier IV land;
• 1 winner will receive Tier V land.

Actual/appraised value of prizes may differ at time of prize award. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by the Sponsor. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except for at the Sponsor's sole discretion. The prizes are non-transferable. Substitution of the prize or transfer/assignment of the prize to others or request for the cash equivalent of the prize by the Winner is not permitted. Any and all prize related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor to use the Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without any compensation, unless prohibited by law.

7. Odds of Winning: The probability of winning the prize is based on the total number of tickets You have.  

8. Winner Selection and Notification: The Winner will be selected by random draw under the supervision of the Sponsor. The results of the Sweepstakes will be announced within seven (7) days from the end of the Entry Period. The Winners will be notified via our official social media channels (Twitter: www.twitter.com/medievalempires ) by a public post carrying identifiable but limited digits of the winners’ wallet addreses.  Receipt of the prize offered in this Sweepstakes by the Winner is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Any violation of these Rules by the Winner at the Sponsor's sole discretion will result in the Winner's disqualification as winner, and all privileges as winner will be immediately terminated. Please be aware that You need to unlock your MEE Tokens by visiting the dedicated page after thirty (30) days from the time of each transaction is made.

9. Rights Granted by You: By entering this Sweepstakes (e.g., photo, video, text, etc.), You understand and agree that the Sponsor and anyone acting on behalf of the Sponsor or its respective licensees, successors, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the world, without limitation, your entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, video, statements about the Sweepstakes, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes without any compensation, notice, review, or consent. By entering this Sweepstakes, You represent and warrant that your entry is an original work of authorship, and does not violate any third party’s proprietary or intellectual property rights. If your entry infringes upon the intellectual property right of another, You will be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. If the content of your entry is claimed to constitute infringement of any proprietary or intellectual proprietary rights of any third party, you shall, at your sole expense, defend or settle against such claims. You shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Sponsor its directors, employees, independent contractors, interns, officers, directors, agents, affiliates and subsidiaries, from and against any suit, proceeding, claims, liability, loss, damage, costs or expense, which the Sponsor and its employees, independent contractors, interns, officers, directors, agents, affiliates and subsidiaries may incur, suffer, or be required to pay arising out of such infringement or suspected infringement of any third party’s right.

You affirm and guarantee that You are the owner of the MEE Tokens and that they are free from any liens or encumbrances. If it is discovered that You do not have full ownership of the MEE Tokens or that they are encumbered, You shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Sponsor its directors, employees, independent contractors, interns, officers, directors, agents, affiliates and subsidiaries, from and against any suit, proceeding, claims, liability, loss, damage, costs or expense, which the Sponsor and its employees, independent contractors, interns, officers, directors, agents, affiliates and subsidiaries may incur, suffer, or be required to pay arising out of such representation and warranty.

10. Terms and Conditions: The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes should virus, bug, technical failures, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond the Sponsor’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. In such cases, the Sponsor may select a Winner(s) from eligible entries received before and/or after the action taken by the Sponsor if appropriate. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or website or violates these Rules. The Sponsor has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Sweepstakes, to void entries for any reason, including, but not limited to: multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by Sweepstakes rules; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Risk and Limitation of Liability:

The risk that the MEE Tokens You transferred to participate in the Sweepstakes may be lost because, among other things:

• You are transferring the MEE Tokens directly into smart contracts owned by applicable networks (i.e. third-party networks selected by the Sponsor) and not by the Sponsor;
• The MEE Tokens are outside of the Sponsor’s control and the Sponsor cannot guarantee the return of the transferred MEE Tokens;
• Events may occur at the protocol level (including but not limited to hacks, exploits, or poor economic models), which is outside of the Sponsor’s control;
• Whether the applicable network suspends, discontinues, and terminates its business.

In no event shall the Sponsor be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages or costs arising out of or in connection with this Sweepstakes and any risk identified above, including, but not limited to, any loss of profits, loss of actual or anticipated profits, loss of anticipated savings, loss of contracts, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill or loss of data, regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise. In addition, the Sponsor shall not be liable if You do not claim your MEE Tokens back by clicking the “Unlock Tokens” button after the completion of the thirty (30) days lock-in period of each transaction, even if this results in the loss of your MEE Tokens. The Sponsor's total liability under this Sweepstakes shall not exceed one dollar ($1.00 USD). You acknowledge and agree that this limitation of liability is an essential element of this Sweepstakes.

By entering the Sweepstakes, You agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the Sweepstakes; (iii) electronic or human error in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; (iv) technical errors of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, software, blockchain issues, or other mechanical equipment; (v) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (vi) printing errors; (vii) lost, late, postage due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail.

12. Disputes: This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the British Virgin Islands, without respect to conflict of law doctrines. By participating in this Sweepstakes, You agree that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in the British Virgin Islands having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall You be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees. You further waive all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

13. Winners List: To request a copy of the winners list please contact the Sponsor. Requests must be sent within four (4) weeks of the end of the Entry Period.

14. The Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest, LinkedIn or any other social networks that are used to share the Sweepstakes. You understand that You are providing your information to the owner of the Sweepstakes and not to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest, LinkedIn or any other social networks.

15. Acceptance of Rules: By participating in the Sweepstakes, You have affirmatively reviewed, accepted, and agreed to these Rules.

1. Disclaimers

1.1 Persons excluded from the Sweepstakes. Any person or entity, including anyone acting on its behalf, being based, domiciled, located or incorporated in or is a citizen or resident or green card holder in any territory under the jurisdiction of the United States of America, including any state of the United States of America or the District of Columbia (the "USA"), or Canada, the Virgin Islands of the United States, Republic of Korea, Singapore, the People’s Republic of China, Bosnia, Albania, Belarus, Burma, Burundi, British Virgin Islands, Cote D'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Cuba, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Liberia, North Korea, Russia, Republic of Guinea, Republic of Guinea – Bissau, Sudan, Somalia, Syria, and Zimbabwe  or any other country or territory included in the OFAC or any other US, UN, EU or other applicable Sanctions List (together "Restricted Areas", and each individually, "Restricted Area"), may not use the website, enter and participate in the Sweepstakes, and must leave the website immediately ("Ineligible Persons", and each such person or entity individually, "Ineligible Person").

1.2 The Sponsor shall not be responsible for fraudulent, deceptive or otherwise malicious use of any tools whatsoever by any Ineligible Person to use the website, enter and participate in the Sweepstakes, become the Winner and receive prizes under the semblance of provenance from any other jurisdiction outside the Restricted Areas.

1.3 The Sweepstakes may not be marketed, advertised or offered for participation directly or indirectly to any Ineligible Person and neither this website nor these Rules, nor any material or information contained herein pertaining to the Sweepstakes and prizes for the Winner, may be supplied to any Ineligible Person or used in connection with any offer to use the website, enter and participate in the Sweepstakes, become the Winner and receive prizes to any Ineligible Person.

1.4 If the Sponsor determines at its sole and absolute discretion and at any time (before, during or even after the Sweepstake) that it is reasonably necessary to obtain certain information about You in order to comply with any applicable laws in connection with the Sweepstakes, You hereby agree and acknowledge to provide the Sponsor with such information promptly upon the request. You acknowledge and agree that the Sponsor may refuse to proceed with the awarding of the prize to the Winner or withhold granting of prizes to the Winner until such requested information has been provided to the reasonable satisfaction of the Sponsor which is at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.

1.5 Wallet Address. You hereby agree and acknowledge that in case You are selected as a Winner, the prize will be transferred to the same wallet address that You used to send the MEE Tokens to the designated smart contract.
